Salt creek
Located on a wooded site in Marin County, this project engages a complex topography by creating a bold cantilevered form that hovers above the foliage and frames an outdoor gathering spaces that include a fire circle, outdoor kitchen, and pool. The project includes a new guesthouse, home theater, and a wellness center that consists of a workout area, cold plunge, steam shower, and sauna. The material palette is simple and honest, consisting of board formed concrete, warm cedar, and steel. A creek winds along at the base of the property, and the landscape choices reflect native species and the riparian habitat.
