The Garfield Park Plaza creates an outdoor community space that will be filled with community gatherings, performances, concerts, picnics, and other uses. The orientation of the site walls blocks the prevailing wind, and the trellis overhead allows the space to be comfortable on hot days. An outdoor fireplace extends the use to evening hours on warm summer nights.
